Our meats are naturally raised.
With over 90 acres of lush pasture, all of our animals are grazed on rotation. With south facing exposure, not only do the animals enjoy year round sunshine, they also enjoy a relaxed, stress-free, clean environment. Our animals are never treated with hormones, anti-biotics or fed grain concentrations. Their pastures are set up so they are on green, lush grass. Rotational grazing means that we move the fence line(s) daily or every other day so that the animals are eating only fresh pasture grasses. On average, our calves, once weaned, gain 2-3 lbs per day! Rotational grazing also means that our animals have lower or non-existent parasite loads due to the fact they never graze over pastures littered with manure. Because our pastures are South facing, the sun acts as a natural sanitizer. Grazing in this way also increases our animal’s resistance to disease.
